Get Healthy with Fitgo

Eating healthy food, going for regular exercise to stay fit is something which everyone of us are aware of. But despite the awareness, due to time constraint, work pressure, adapting these good habits takes a back seat. What if you get healthy, planned diet food recommended by experts right at your doorstep? This is what Fitgo is up to. Keeping these group of people in mind, a team of BITS (Birla Institute of Technology) alumni – Narendhiran Sundaresan, Ankit Agarwal and Anupam Garg, has come up with, a food-tech delivery platform.

At Fitgo the diet plans are tailored so that it match one’s health needs, fitness goals, individual metabolism, work schedule, and more importantly matching to one’s taste buds. The food includes diets ranging from result-oriented weight management diets, detox diets, enhancement diets (like stress management, immunity boosters), medical diets (for diabetes, anemia, pregnancy) and special diets for specific results. Meanwhile, the cuisines are curated by in-house experts comprising of Nutrition science specialists, health coaches, fitness experts and dieticians to ensure that everyone coming to their platform gets the right meals.

Obesity, diabetes, cardiac problem are few among the lifestyle disorders which has been escalating in large number among Bengalurians and all these can be avoided with planned healthy food intake and other physical activities. Towards this, Fitgo aims to provide the much needed diet for working professionals which would help them manage their lifestyle disorders, mainly weight, cholesterol and diabetes.

Ever since its launch in September 2015, Fitgo has been able to serve to about 1,500 customers and they have been able to maintain about 50% returning customers. Currently their service is available in few areas in Bengaluru – Koramangala,Bellandur,HSR Layout and BTM Layout. Meanwhile, Fitgo plans to cover the entire city in 2016 and also bringing in more experts is in their plans.
