Medikoe a Unique Healthcare Search Platform

With newer technologies coming in healthcare market is flooded with a large number of fitness and medical apps that let users track their fitness, consult doctors and even make appointments online. Medikoe is one such unique search and discovery platform in the healthcare services, a first online platform connecting consumers to four major healthcare pillars- Hospitals, Diagnostic centre, Pharmacy and Wellness, to provide services along with great offers in their neighbourhood. It ensures that every service is personally verified and can be trusted.

While working at IBM as the Country Manager, Sreevalsan Menon, Founder and CEO of Medikoe had to travel a lot and this was taking a toll on his health. During one such travel in Mumbai he was faced with a medical emergency where due to lack of information of services he was not able to get the prescribed medicines on time. Woken up through his own personal experience Sreevalsan along with Raman Shukla, also a former IBM employee founded Medikoe in October 2015.

The health sector is one of the fastest growing in India. Since its launch, Medikoe, which is based in Bengaluru seems to be ever growing. It now has 7500+ users with more than 5000+ service providers on the platform with more than 75000+ searches.Consumers can reach any of these services in their neighbourhood in just a single click. Currently the services is available in Bengaluru and is soon launching in other Indian cities by February end.

Few months with its launch and Medikoe have raised an angel funding of $100K to fuel expansion. Being the first online medical platform to integrate all the Healthcare and Wellness deals from 5% to 30% on a single platform, Medikoe aims to make healthcare and wellness not only convenient but also affordable.
