Solutions Infini enhances SMSs capacity to 1 crore per hour for GOSF

A day to go for the much awaited Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) and every other E-commerce companies have been gearing up for the show. One among them, Bengaluru based Solutions Infini, the first Indian messaging company which will be participating for the first time in the GOSF has enhanced their SMS capacity, where in they can send one crore SMSs in just 60 minutes.

The Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) which will be on from December 10-12 involving over 300 online retailers, was created by Google India on December 2012 in collaboration with a number of Indian online shopping portals. The concept of the GOSF was that the online shopping sites would give heavy discounts for one day, in order to promote their sales. The concept of a one-day online sale originated in the United States, where many online shopping sites offer discounts on ‘Cyber Monday’, the first Monday after the so-called Black Friday, the day that follows the U.S. Thanksgiving. The concept has spread to several countries including Canada, Japan, Australia, Colombia, and the U.K.

Previous year GOSF had reported around 2 million visitors. Currently there are more E-commerce companies and more online shoppers. These companies are surely looking to breakthrough the past figures, seek for more first time shoppers. In additional many E-commerce companies have planned for various engagement activities through different media with targeted, segmented campaigns. Discovering the high mobility they turned their lens towards the bulk SMS solutions to scale up peak campaign and high visibility of the GOSF. We were asked by one of the leading e-commerce player to build a superior SMS marketing solution that can send SMS to a nearly crore data centric in 60 minutes. They believe SMS can drive a higher level of impact and conversion in every manner. We accepted and going ahead we crafted the needful in some time keeping all consideration towards the successful service, said Aniketh Jain, CEO, Solutions Infini.

We at Solutions Infini dug into all required technology insights and redefine the built in-house platforms. To increase the normal SMS we have scaled up our gateway servers and infrastructures. W e have intelligently enhanced the SMS gateways with the load optimization, custom and smart network- routing to handle confirmations and acknowledgments thereby framing the SMS gateways that can handle and deliver SMSs in a crore mobile phones in just a span of 60 minutes, he further added.

Currently, Jabong, Myntra,, Justdial, Vijaya Bank and Syndicate Bank are few among the major clients which Solutions Infini has been working with. There are lot of potential for growth for messaging companies as there has been a sprawl in the E-commerce segment of recent especially the online food ordering, cab facilities and also the online recharge systems. As we were upgrading the technology we have added new team members. Even after the GOSF concludes there is lot of potential for growth, said Mr Aniketh.
